David and Roselyn Biermaier of New Prague celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 31.The couple, both Browerville High School Class of 1964 graduates, was married at the Church of St. Joseph’s in Browerville, MN on August 31, 1968.
The couple have four children, Sara Goldstein of Las Vegas, NV, Emily Chapman of Tea, SD, Jeremy Biermaier of New Prague, MN, and Abigail Ranschau of Sioux Falls, SD. They have nine grandchildren.
Brittany Theisen of Dyersville, IA, daughter of Dan and Lynn Theisen of Earlville, IA, and Peter Ryan of New Prague, son of Ronald and Rosie Ryan of New Prague, announce their engagement.
Brittany is a graduate of Northeast Iowa Community College and is a Registered Nurse.
Peter is a graduate of Drake University and is a Pharmacist.
A September 22, 2018 wedding will be held in Dyersville, IA.

A daughter, Braelyn Kae Hoppert, was born to Thomas and Kim (Chlan) Hoppert of Elko New Market on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Northfield Hospital. Braelyn weighed 8 pounds and was 20-1/2 inches long. Braelyn was welcomed home by big sister Brynlee, age 4.
Grandparents are Rich and Darcy Chlan of Webster and Charles and Jan Hoppert of Sheboygan, WI.
Great-grandparents are Rita Chlan of Webster, Betty Zimanske of Lonsdale and Henry and Shirley Hoppert of Sheboygan, WI.
A son, Cody Joseph Ziskovsky, was born to Tim and Susannah (Rosival) Ziskovsky of Lonsdale on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Northfield Hospital. Cody weighed 6 pounds and 15 ounces and was 20 inches long. Cody was welcomed home by his big brother Luke, age 2.
Grandparents are Richard and Mary Rosival, Montgomery and Richard and Shirley Ziskovsky, New Prague.
Great-grandparents are Joe and Betty Ziskovsky, Veseli.
A daughter, Caroline Grace Cromwell was born to Clark and Myranda (Maxa) Cromwell of New Orleans, LA on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Ochsner Baptist Medical Center, New Orleans, LA. Caroline weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces and was 18 inches long.
Grandparents are Mike and Nancy Maxa, Le Center and Jon and Sally Cromwell, Covington, LA.
Great-grandparents are Ramona McGuire and Pat and Emil Maxa all from Montgomery.
