Owners JoAnn and Joel Erickson started their passion-business, Something for All, 14 years ago in Lonsdale.
The shop at 135 Main Street S lives up to its name. It’s not strictly antiques. It’s not completely crafts. It’s not a thrift store. It has elements of just a little bit of each. It’s “Something for All.”
A son, Auggie Thomas Lacey, was born to Joshua and Katie (Raker) Lacey of New Prague on Wednesday, December, 7, 2022 at Northfield Hospital. Auggie weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. Auggie is welcomed home by big brother Trent, age 4.
Grandparents are Tom and Jill Raker of Arvilla, ND and Bev and Ted Lacey of Trent, SD.
Great-grandparents are Margaret Lent of Bradford, PA, Pamela Gross of Avon Park, FL, Harry Reaves of Flandreau, SD, John and Peggy Raker of Jordan, NY and John and Patti O’Connell of Corning, NY.
Five photography students from Tri-City United High School competed in the Southwest West Central Service Cooperative’s (SWWC) Digital Photography Competition in Marshall on Friday, Dec. 2. More on this in the Dec. 15 edition of the Messenger.
A daughter, Brielle Rose Dahl, was born to Travis and Emily (Kaminsky) Dahl of St. Augusta on Friday, May 27, 2022 at St. Cloud Hospital. Brielle weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18 inches long. She is welcomed home by siblings Adelyn, age 9, Cameron, age 7, James, age 4 and Elise, age 2. Brielle was baptized Sunday, June 5, 2022 at St. Roberts Bellarmine Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Godparents are Justin and Katie McDonnell of Hastings.
Grandparents are Gary and Marita Kaminsky of New Prague and Wendell and Peggy Dahl of Lake Lillian.
Rhett Paul Schwichtenberg and Kendra Leigh Olson were married on August 13, 2021 in Eden Prairie.
Rhett is the son of Donovan and Myrna Schwichtenberg of Edina and rural Waterville. Kendra is the daughter of Dan and Denise Olson of Chanhassen. Rhett is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus and the University of Minnesota.
Kendra is a graduate of Montana State and Concordia. Kendra is a Spanish teacher with Jordan Public Schools. Rhett is an attorney with Stinson in Minneapolis.
After a honeymoon in Savannah, they are home in Waconia.

Megan and AJ were married on Dec 31, 2021, at El Mercato in New Orleans, LA along with many friends and family. The ceremony was followed by the traditional 2nd Line parade, reception and dance.

Angela Kristien Lallak of New Prague, daughter of Tracy (Greg) Friendshuh of Shakopee and Brian (Janene) Leeman of Coon Rapids, and Daniel Walter Tupy of New Prague, son of Butch (Robin) Tupy of Shakopee and Linda Richards of New Prague, will be married on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 3 p.m. in Florida.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of New Prague High School and is currently a Day Service Manager at MRCI.
The groom is 2008 graduate of New Prague High School and is currently a dump truck driver at A1 Trucking.
A reception will be held this fall in New Prague.

A son, Cyrus Richard Morrison, was born to Jason and Jacquelyn (Bresser) Morrison of Hastings on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Woodwinds Hospital, Woodbury. Cyrus weighed 9 pounds and 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. Cyrus was welcomed home by 4 year-old sister, Ida and 3 year-old sister, Leona.

Anh Tran (Mia) and Daniel Bartusek were married on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 at The Depot in New Prague, MN. Judge Colleen King officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Phuoc Tran and Hang Tu of Phan Rang, Vietnam. The groom is the son of Mark and Mary Bartusek, New Prague, MN.
Anh will graduate in May from Metropolitan State University, St. Paul with a Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems. Daniel graduated from North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, North Dakota in 2017 and works as a pipe fitter.
The couple live in Lakeville, MN.
A daughter, Philomena Carmen Kaminsky, was born to Stephen and Mary (Riese) Kaminsky of Forest Lake on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at A New Story Birth Center, Milaca. Philomena weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 inches long. She is welcomed home by big sister Guadalupe Rose, 14 months old. Philomena was baptized Monday, February 14, 2022 by Father Cassian DiRocco at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Miesville. Godparents are Louis and Elizabeth Bogowith of Montgomery.
