Garold “Gary” Joseph Skluzacek, born December 9, 1950, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 19, 2026.

Donna Mae Ruhland, age 88, of Montgomery, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2026.

Donna was born October 5, 1937, in Erin Township, Minnesota, to Stanley and Estelle (Janovsky) Krocak. As a young woman, she attended beauty school in St. Paul and loved sharing stories about the house she and her classmates lived in near the Cathedral of Saint Paul.

Lloyd George Rynda, age 95, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Orrin Bernard Retka, age 90, of Montgomery, formerly of St. Thomas, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine.

Karolina "Lina" Janovsky, age 93, of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Cura Care Center in Le Sueur.

Shirley Ann (Lamont) Krenik, age 89, of Elysian, passed away peacefully at her home on September 4, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

John Titus, of Lonsdale, MN, died peacefully at the University of Minnesota Hospital on August 17, 2026, after a brief illness due to a sepsis infection related to his Crohn’s disease. He was surrounded by the love of his family and of his best friend Matt. The world has lost a truly one of a kind human.

William J. Pan, aka Buckshot, Mr. B, Bill, age 79, formerly of Montgomery, currently of Cold Spring, TX, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026.  Bill was born to Annabelle (Bauer) Pan and Harry Pan of Montgomery on September 23, 1946. From here is where Bill’s story began! At a very young age, Bill would play guitar in his grandmother’s yard and sing songs; some of these songs he would make up. This may have been the start of his music career!

Darlene Homburg, age 88, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. On a beautiful farm in Lonsdale, MN, Darlene and Otto lived a life filled with love, laughter, family, and cherished traditions.

Leonard Dahn, a farm kid from Montgomery, Minnesota, lived a life built around family, hard work, and a good card game.

Leonard spent his early childhood on a farm in Montgomery and then living in town as a teenager. He eventually moved to Bloomington, where he raised his family. He worked 44 years as a union guy, working in the grocery business as a meat cutter (50 years), before eventually retiring to Apple Valley.

Benjamin "Ben" James Krenik, age 45, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 13, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Rochester.

Ben was born on January 25, 1981, in New Prague, to Nick and Teri (Nelson) Krenik. He graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale High School with the Class of 1999.

Michael “Mick” Patrick McGuire, age 73, of Montgomery, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Jane Mary (Malecha) Pesta/Shriver, age 83, of Montgomery, MN, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Adeline “Shorty” D. Dietz, age 92, of Montgomery, passed away on August 4, 2026, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN, with her loving family by her side.

Born on December 21, 1933, at her family home in St. Patrick, MN, she was the daughter of William and Adeline (Sticha) Bisek. She graduated from New Prague High School and later attended beauty school.

Monerah Roseann (Gassman) Montgomery, age 82, of St. Paul Park, was reunited in heaven with her parents, Alfred Sr. and Helen (Freid) Gassman, her siblings Nancy (Richard) DeCoux, Gerald “Jerry” Gassman, and Richard “Dickie” Gassman, and her oldest son Todd Kleist, on 7/22/2026. She joined her loved ones in heaven on the 16th anniversary of her son Todd's passing. 

William Ernest Friedner, age 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
