Joseph George Simon,  “Joe” age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home on December 1, 2022. Joe was born July 15, 1942 to Joe and Bernice (Weiderholt) Simon. He married Sandee Kaufenberg on August 10, 1963. They spent 59 years loving each other and creating a beautiful family. 

 Joe is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Bernice Simon, siblings Lois (Ben) Ries, Melvin (Arlene) Simon, Marlene (Don) Hanson, Jerry Simon, Sis (Dwane) Bergstrom, Sister Zita, Betty Kleindl, and infant sister Nancy, and granddaughter Julett Simon. 

 Joe is survived by his wife Sandee Simon, children Tim (Melody) Simon, Steph (John) Jirik, Scott (Beth) Simon, Jay (Valayna) Simon, Wendy (Chris) Zweber, and Brad (Anna) Simon, grandchildren Trevin (Brittany) Cervenka, Becca (Mario) Najera, Brittani (Tyler) Anderson, Maki Love, Cole Simon, Bryton Nelson, Ryley Simon, Michael (Sydney) Simon, Rachel (Steele) Keppers, Breanna Nelson, Kayley (Ben) Slepica, Sam Zweber, Libby Zweber, Hannah Simon, Annie Zweber, Leah Simon, and Ryatt Simon, great-grandchildren August Cervenka and Ainsley Nelson, brother Jim (Mary Lou) Simon, sister-in-law Nancy Simon, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. 

 Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 AM Friday, December 9, 2022 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, New Market, MN with a gathering of family and friends starting at 9 AM at church. Interment, Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials will be donated to ENM Fire Relief Fund.
