Six Bucs talk their way to Sections

Six members of the Waterville-Elysian- Morristown High School Speech Team will advance to the Sections Speech Tournament after earning high placements at the March 29 Sub-Section competition.
The team placed 5th out of nine teams at Sub-Sections.
Buccaneers Alex Heuss (1st Place in Great Speeches at Sub-Sections), Maddie Heuss (1st in Discussion at Sub-Sections), Paige Atherton and Kiri Kerekes (2nd Place in Duo at Sub-Sections), Claire Elness (5th Place in Prose at Sub-Sections), and Madeline Balfe (5th Place in Creative Expressions at Sub-Sections) will compete at Sections on Friday, April 8 in Janesville.
