In the winters, her and Richard enjoyed being snowbirds and spent their time in the sunshine of southern Texas. Nancy had many close friends in her Texas community and was even crowned her Texas park “Homecoming Queen”. She was known by many as “Fancy Nancy” as you would never catch her without her hair, makeup and jewelry fully done. She loved being a grandmother and in her free time enjoyed making bows and blankets for her grandchildren. She passed on this hobby to her granddaughters.
